Sleeptracker is a watch, but more importantly, it helps you wake up at the best possible moment: when you are the most awake during your sleep.
You see, when you sleep, your brain goes through different stages and degrees of alert sleep (similar to an awake state) and deep sleep. Scientists call the different stages of sleep “REM sleep.” The Sleeptracker monitors your sleep and determines the best time to wake up based on the time when you are farthest away from deep sleep so that you wake completely refreshed and not at all sleepy.
So what does Uberman, or polyphasic sleep, have to do with this? Well, the biggest problem with polyphasic sleep (sleeping only a half hour every four hours during the whole day instead of getting eight hours of sleep at night) is waking up at the right time. Most polyphasic sleepers try to force their bodies to wake up at the right time after a light sleep, but this makes it very difficult. Also, using an alarm clock doesn’t help either because you may slip into a deeper sleep stage than you should to be able to stay awake for the next four hours. The answer is using a Sleeptracker and I’m out to prove that this will not only work, but that it will work well.
